.XYZ Says They Just "Blew Past" 2 Million Domain Registrations - Daniel Negari the CEO of the .XYZ registry just sent me over a note that the new gTLD .XYZ has “blew past 2 Million domain name registrations”. According to ntldstats.com .XYZ was sitting at 1,967,963 domain registrations as of the last zone update, however there has been a huge surge in 6 number .XYZ domain names from China (NNNNNN.xyz) (also known as 6N domains) of over 100,000 domain registrations. .XYZ Registry Reports Nearly All 5 Number Domains Sold Out - Daniel Negari, CEO of the .xyz registry has reported to TheDomains.com that there are less than 10,000 five number .xyz domain name combinations left before they are all registered! It is all about a eights - The Sedo auction for 8888828.com was paid and hit the Sedo sales wire, the name sold for $5,103, yes a 7N.com. The seller is local to me actually about 30 minutes away in King of Prussia, DomainDakini.com purchased the domain name back in 2014, it looks like from a Chinese registrant who hand regged the domain back in 2013. Rick Schwartz Sells The Domain 9595.com for $180K: Highest Reported 4 Number Domain Sale - Rick Schwartz a/k/a the Domain King has done it again, setting yet another record selling the domain name 9595.com for $180,000.
