A “slow” week for new TLD launches - More Donuts, but not much else. There’s not much on the docket this week for new top level domain name launches. According to the Calzone.org calendar, the only TLDs hitting general availability this week are a handful from Donuts on Wednesday. Four Donuts domain names enter regularly-priced general availability: .reisen (travel in German), .Toys, .University and .Town. A couple potential “gripe” terms enter EAP: .wtf and .fail. Another 0-for-18 with new TLDs - I tried to register 18 new domains today. I failed once again. I came up with 18 domains that I thought might be worth registering in these new extensions. Regrettably, I went 0-for-18. Perhaps I’m not being creative enough. I’m admittedly coming up with domain ideas that many others would think of, too. But the results ... read more ...
