German Court Rules in Favor of AdBlock Plus - A German Court has determined AdBlock Plus is not illegal. AdBlock Plus – which is owned by the Cologne-based firm Eyeo – faces three separate but related cases involving the media groups, ProSiebenSat.1, RTL Interactive and Axel Springer.

With the sale of .stream to Famous Four Media, ICANN has completed the sale of rights to new dot-word TLDs, The Register reports. Activist Buys Up Domain Names of Politicians who voted for Indiana's Anti-Gay Law - PinkNews.com reported that an activist Konrad Juengling bought up domains related to politicians who voted for the Religious Freedom Restoration Act in Indiana, the law caught a lot of heat during the NCAA Tournament as the final four was held in Indianapolis. Verisign reports earnings, 1.51 million net adds - Company reports continued growth in domain name registrations and base.
Verisign reported first quarter earnings after the bell today, including some fairly solid numbers for new registrations and net additions in .com/.net.
8.7 million new .com and .net registrations occurred in the first quarter, up from 8.6 million in the same quarter last year. It’s not a big jump, but it’s headed in the right direction. That netted out to 1.51 million more names after accounting for deletions.
