Bill Sweetman President of NameNinja.com, sent out a press release today saying that 79% of 491 Startups that will be participating at the Collision Startup Conference being held in Las Vegas on May 5-6 are using domain names that are counter intuitive and likely pose marketing challenges.

Startup domain name fails: 68% destroy radio test - Majority of companies attending startup conference have problematic domain names.
Name Ninja recently performed an analysis of the domain names used by startups going to the Collision conference in Las Vegas next month. The domain name consultancy found that only 21% of companies have the “ideal” domain name for their business.

Domain name services company CentralNic doubled its revenue in 2014 and increased its adjusted EBITDA by 65%.
The company grew its topline from £3.891 million to £6.067 million. Adjusted EBITDA, which excludes acquisition deal fees and non-cash charges, grew from £1.015 million in 2013 to £1.724 in 2014. Its actual profits before tax dipped for the year.
