Sedo’s revenue continues downward trend but company reports a rebound in domains for sale and parked since the end of 2012.
Sedo Holding’s domain marketing segment, which most in the domain name industry know as simply Sedo, posted a sharp revenue drop in the first six months of 2013 compared to 2012.
The company reported today that revenue was down 17% in the first half of the year at €13.7.

Sedo.com just released their domain transactions for the week 08/05/13 – 08/11/13 totaling $1MM.
The highest priced transaction was PremierOutlets.com at $26,000 followed by RealGaming.com at $20,000.
Over the past week, 673 transactions took place on Sedo’s marketplace and via SedoMLS, totaling $1MM. This amounts to $42.2MM in year-to-date sales revenue.
Over 47% of total sales were the result of Buy Now listings.

Looker.com Sold On Godaddy For $50K in 2012 Gets $16 Milion In Series A Funding - The Term Sheet is reporting that Looker.coma Santa Cruz, Calif.-based business intelligence startup, has raised $16 million in Series A funding. Redpoint Ventures led the round, and was joined by seed backer First Round Capital.”
The domain name Looker.com was purchased at the Godaddy marketplace back in May 2012 for $50,000.
