TrafficZ shuts down on Wednesday - End of an era: TrafficZ to shut its doors on Wednesday. Thought Convergence sold off its primary operating businesses this year: it sold Agreed to Escrow.com and Aftermarket.com to Igloo. That left domain name parking company TrafficZ. Today, the company emailed clients informing them that the service will cease operations at 12 am on Wednesday. I’m not sure how much domain name traffic was still running through TrafficZ. Thought Convergence offered domain name ... read more ...

TrafficZ Lightens Up - TrafficZ changes background color, starts integration with DomainTools and LeaseThis. One suggestion I’ve made to TrafficZ is to change its background color in the administrative console from black to a lighter color. I know a lot of other people have made that suggestion, too. TrafficZ has listened to its customers and changed the background color: TrafficZ is lightening the mood. Next time you visit www.TrafficZ.com, you can expect to see a brand new background ... read more ...

Parked Pages Differ in Load Time - Load times for parked domain names differ greatly. Most visitors to parked domain names hit the back button on their browser rather than clicking on a link. One way to ensure that visitors click the back button more often is to have parked pages that load very slowly. How many times have you visited a web site and clicked back because it took forever to load? I tested out the domain parking companies today to see how fast their parked pages load. I used a free ... read more ...

Final Thoughts on TRAFFIC East - A look back at the latest TRAFFIC domain name show. I’ve read a few blog posts this weekend from people giving their opinion on the TRAFFIC show that just concluded in Orlando. Of course, half of these bloggers weren’t even there, so I don’t know how they can pass judgment on the show.
