TLDH launches “Priority Registration” use for new TLDs, starting during €29.95 -
Service makes it easy to get first in line for some new TLDs, although premium pricing does apply.
Top Level Domain Holdings has released a system for pre-registering new top level domain names, called Priority Registration.
The service is enabled through the company’s Online Priority Enhanced Names database (“OPEN”) at the company’s own domain name registrar, Minds + Machines. It is also open for other domain registrars and registries to link into.

Losing Private New gTLD Auctions For .Lawyer & .Website Net Top Level Domain Holdings $4.8 Million - Top Level Domain Holdings (LON:TLDH) said by losing the private auctions for .website and .lawyer, which concluded on Oct. 23, it will add £2.97m ($4.81m) to its cash reserves.
The 14 previous new gTLD private auctions held by ApplicantAuction.com, totaled $18.9 in winning bids or around $1.33 million per string.

Shares of Top Level Domain Holdings spike -
TLDH shares almost double in price.
Shares in new top level domain name applicant Top Level Domain Holdings have double in recent days.
The stock is currently trading on the London Stock Exchange for 10.25p. Shares were trading for less than 6.00p last Friday.
It’s not immediately clear to me why the shares have jumped. It could be because a couple research reports for the stock came out this week.

TLDH gets a victory in fight over .eco.
The latest salvo in the fight for the .eco top level domain name has been successfully defended by Top Level Domain Holdings.
A World Intellectual Property Organization panel denied planet.ECO, LLC’s Legal Rights Objection against TLDH for .eco.
planet.ECO has a U.S. trademark for .eco, which was granted because the applicant shielded the fact that it was to be used for a top level domain name.

Looks Like 1st New gTLD Private Auction For This Week Is Over As Donuts Loses & TLDH Wins .Casa - It appears that the 1st of this weeks private auctions being held by Applicant Auction is completed as Donuts has withdrawn its application for .Casa on the ICANN website.
Donuts application for .Casa has a prioritization number of 1,622 and has not yet passed ICANN Initial Evaluation (IE) meaning that Donuts will get 70% refund of their $185,000 application fee.

TLDH and Tucows group adult on 3 tip turn domain names -
Two TLD applicants pool resources.
Top Level Domain Holdings and Tucows are combining resources in an effort to lock down three top level domain names that are in contention sets.
Tucows had applied for .group and TLDH applied for .tech and .store.
By teaming up, each company will contribute to auction funds and take a minority interest in each others’ strings. Their amount of ownership will depend on how much money they contribute for the auctions.

Deal resolves contention sets for .fit, .review, and .science.
Top Level Domain Holdings (AIM: TLDH) and Famous Four Media (and associated companies) have made a deal to resolve three contention sets.
Under the terms of the deal, Famous Four has withdrawn its application for .fit, leaving TLDH as the only applicant for the string.
In return, TLDH has withdrawn its applications for .review and .science. Famous Four will pay a royalty to TLDH on .review revenue.

Famous Four withdrew its 1st new gTLD application for .Fit leaving Top Level Domain Holdings as the sole applicant.

TLDH releases annual report and earnings.
Top Level Domain Holdings, the only publicly traded pure-play top level domain applicant, today released its annual report and audited financials for the fourteen month period ending December 2012 (pdf).
The company ended 2012 with £2.418 million in cash and cash equivalents on its books. That’s down from £7.074 million at the end of 2011.

TLDH Withdrawing 4 New gTLD Applications: .Free; .Sale; .Spa; .Zulu - According to a press release we received this morning, The Board of Directors of Top Level Domain Holdings (AIM:TLDH) issued an update to its new gTLD application with the biggest news out of the release is that it is withdrawing 4 of its new gTLD application
TLDH announced that is decided to withdraw its application for .Free; .Sale; .Spa; .Zulu.
Those withdrawals are not reflected on ICANN’s site.

TLDH: Digital archery might have technical bugs -
Big new top level domain applicant finds odd results with digital archery system.
Digital archery, which creates a secondary timestamp for new TLD applications that will determine how they are batched, is run through ICANN’s TLD Application System (TAS).
This is the same system that was taken offline for over a month due to a security glitch that allowed some competing applicants to see limited data from other applicants.
