55 Three Letter .Com's From My Former Portfolio Sold & Buyer Is NOT From China - I just noticed that 55 three-letter domain names (LLL.com) that I sold as part of my portfolio to Godaddy/Afternic, which was announced a week ago Monday, have already been sold off and the biggest surprise maybe the buyer was not from China. Domain investor Nat Cohen’s Telepathy is now the owner of the following three-letter .com’s. All appear to be the type of letter domain names favored by Chinese domain investors those without vowels or the letter “v” Some repeaters are included. The ... read more ...

$50,000 chastisement for filing a whimsical UDRP! - Company pays big bucks after filing losing UDRP. A Belgium maker of ultrasound equipment has paid $50,000 to settle a lawsuit stemming from a frivolous UDRP it filed. SDT International filed a UDRP for the domain named SDT.com last year. The domain name is owned by Nat Cohen’s Telepathy, and SDT had tried to purchase the domain name before filing the complaint. (Cohen was on the Domain Name Wire Podcast recently, discussing similar frivolous cases). Upon receipt of the UDRP, Cohen reached out to ... read more ...

Nat Cohen sells LGG.com for $175k to association that filed UDRP opposite a domain name - Company pays up after playing dirty in domain name negotiation. This week’s DNJournal sales report includes a $175,000 sale of LGG.com. When reviewing the report, I instantly knew this domain name was familiar. Sure enough, I’ve written about it before. The company that just bought the domain name, a Finnish dairy company called Valio Ltd, filed a UDRP against Telepathy (owned by domain investor Nat Cohen) last year in an effort to get the domain name. Telepathy ... read more ...

Nat Cohen wins retreat domain name hijacking assign opposite sauna for SHA.com - Spanish spa and wellness center brought UDRP in bad faith. Nat Cohen’s Telepathy has successfully defended the domain name Sha.com from an attack by Albir Hills Resort, S.A., known as SHA Wellness Clinic. The panel also determined that SHA Wellness Clinic was guilty of attempting reverse domain name hijacking. I’ve got to say, this was a no brainer for the three person panel. First, SHA’s attorney said the resort had been “operating in the market for 15 years”. ... read more ...

Instrumentation Northwest should ask the counsel for the income back - It just wasted money filing a frivolous complaint over INW.com. The results are in on Instrumentation Northwest’s case against Nat Cohen’s Telepathy for the domain INW.com. No surprise here. With the help of domain attorney Ari Goldberger, Telepathy won the case. But the complainant should really ask its lawyer to give back whatever he or she charged to represent it. This case was dead from the beginning, and any good lawyer would have told their client this. ... read more ...

Minisites.com Delivers: KansasCity.us - @ Domain Name Media — sheesh bro, it took me some time to figure out which of your leaders at “Domain Name Media” I was talking to in order to address you directly like a man. However, even http://www.domainnamemedia.com is a danged ol’ landing page, and apparently not owned by you… so no help with your handle here in allowing me to know who I’m talking to. Should you use the full phrase of your acronym company name (“Domain Name Media” standing in for “DNmedia.com”) ... read more ...
