SnapNames Finally Hits a Mark in Showcase Auction -
Latest showcase auction off to roaring start.
I haven’t been impressed with the results in SnapNames’ monthly “showcase” auctions thus far. The sell-through rates have been dismal and the inventory lacking. That is, until this month.
With still five days to go, this month’s showcase auction already has 80+ domain names that have met their reserves. Granted, the deck is stacked with about 700 domain names, but this is still a great start. There are two ... read more ...

Single.asia $770
Wireless.asia $1,750
MP3.asia $655

These UK Students Must Have a Big Budget to Buy Domain Names -
New domain purchase inquiry “form letter” making the rounds.
I got a suspicious domain name inquiry yesterday. It was suspicious for two reasons:
1. Whenever someone vaguely explains their reason for buying generic domain names, that’s a red flag.
2. I received an email from another domainer at the same time, who had received the same email.
It purports to be from some students/”small time entrepreneurs” in the UK looking to buy domain names. I’m not ... read more ...

What Was The Best Domain Buy Of 2009? (Revised With Your Picks) - I have updated and restarted the poll with some of your comments and suggestions.
The only option I did not give you is to vote for the $7 Million dollars portifillio that DirectNavigation.com Reported on last week.
It’s simply unfair to judge a portfolio acquisition against a single domain acquisition.
I also removed the “something else choice”, they were all good buys so pick the one you think was the best.

Experience a New Auction Platform and Help Charity -
Charity domain name auction underway.
The WhyPark charity auction is now live, and I can think of a couple good reasons to participate.
First is that all auction proceeds go to charity. For me, December is a month of giving. Although I donate to charities throughout the year, my wife and I are sure to make our big donations before the end of the year. In this auction, the person who places the single highest bid in the entire auction gets to choose the charity ... read more ...
Bido Changes Up Its Game (Again) -

Credit domain name auction site Bido with constantly tweaking (or overhauling) its site in response to feedback.
Today the company announced a number of new changes:
1. Name your starting price. No more $28 minimum/maximum. A lower minimum will likely result in more votes.
2. Vote for profits. If an auction you vote for goes to auction and sells, you get a cut of Bido’s commission. The goal is to incentivize you to ... read more ...

Use Valuate.com to Find Targeted End User Buyers for Domain Names -
