Barclays has a home during Home.Barclays - Barclays has found a home now at Home.Barclays, back in May they said they would be transitioning away from the .com and the .co.uk. They said they would be adding a layer of security for customers and clients by allowing only Barclays and Barclaycard to set up websites ending in .barclays and .barclaycard. So now Barclays has the .com redirecting to Home.Barclays but not the .co.uk, that domain still stands alone and does not redirect. ICANN Best Estimate For New gTLD Renewal Rate 50%; 25% For Free Domains: 35% Worst Case - In releasing its 2016 operating budget ICANN made some estimate for the purposes of budgeting revenue from new gTLD’s. ICANN is saying its “Best” estimate is that the average renewal rate will be 50% for new gTLD’s except for TLD’s that provided free registrations where the renewal rate was estimated at 25%. The domain name Autism Rocks.com sold last year for $9,500 to the same Buyer. The buyer paid more than 10X more for the new gTLD Autism.Rocks than he paid for the .com domain AutismRocks.com last year. The seller Adam Freeman from Essex, was slated to be a contestant on the British version of The Apprentice before he quit. Uniregistry Announces Sale Of Pro.Flowers For $50K To FTD - On today’s DomainSherpa.com show, Frank Schilling the CEO of Uniregistry announced that the registry sold the new gTLD domain name Pro.Flowers To FTD for $50,000. The domain name transferred from Uniregistry to FTD on April 10th.
