Inc.com Says Guru & Ninja Are 2 of a 12 Worst Things You Can Call Yourself On Linkedin - An interesting post by Inc.com on the worst things you can call (or refer) yourself on Linkedin and out of the 12 words you can use the authors says that two of the words are also new gTLD’s. “There are so many terrible words people use to make themselves sound exciting on LinkedIn.” Guru and Ninja both make the list. .Porn Ends Its 1st Day Of With 10,038 Domain Registrations; .Adult 8,277 - According to the ICM Registry as of midnight EST, the first day of general availability (GA) the number of registered .porn domain names totaled 10,038. This number includes all domain name registered in Sunrise by trademark holders which numbered around 4,000 and the number of .porn domain names registered in the matching program for .XXX domain holders which was around 3,500 so basically .porn got over 2,500 registrations on the first day of availability. One Company Just Spent Over $150K In .Apartments Domains & Donuts Makes Over $220K Just In Day 1 - Donuts just I believe set a new gTLD record for selling 21 new gTLD’s on the 1st day of the Early Access Program (EAP) in which wholesale prices are $10K and retail prices range from around $11K to $12,500. Meaning that Donuts took $210,000 in just EAP fees for day 1 of EAP plus many of those domain name also had a premium price.
