Can New gTLDs Save Demand Media ? - Scott Hopkins wrote a piece on Seeking Alpha today stating that the new gtlds were the last chance for Demand Media. Demand Media has been languishing in the stock market for awhile now. The stock is down 25 % this year and is down 46 % over a one year time period. Demand Media owns Name.com and Enom and that is where Hopkins believes the magic has to happen. Go Daddy Going To Court in India over Copyright/Trademark Infringement - Go Daddy is going to have to go to court in India regarding a claim by the National Stock Exchange and their online trading platform. 25 Plaintiffs Filed Federal Suit Over 231 Domains; 26 of Which Are No Longer Registered - A federal lawsuit was filed last week in the New Jersey District Court for trademark infringement against the owners of  231 domain names some of which are pretty generic and 26 of which are no longer registered. Besides the 26 that are no longer registered,  16 domain names named as defendants in the lawsuit are in redemption period and are lightly to be deleted as well. Google Acquires Drone Maker That Facebook Was Eyeing - Todd Wasserman  is reporting for Mashable that Google has purchased Titan Aerospace, a 20 person drone maker that Facebook was also interested in purchasing. There were no financial terms on the deal released on the acquisition. Apparently Facebook was interested to the tune of $60 million. The domain was purchased in 2005 for $355. The new owners is Inter-Mark Corporation out of Las Vegas, Nevada.
