RackSpace IPO Friday - Rackspace the huge hosting company goes to market on Friday with its IPO.
The ten-year-old company logged net revenues of $362 million in 2007, and a profit of $17.8 million.
It’s offering 15 million shares at between $12 and $16 per share in a Dutch auction format (what Google used for its IPO), and it’s backed by some great names in venture capital, including Sequoia and Norwest Venture Partners.

New Type of Lawsuit is Brewing Against Domainers and Advertisers - There’s a new type of lawsuit coming against PPC advertisers and domainers, about search marketing and the right to bid on trademarked or just competitive terms.
In this particular case Nike sued a New Hampshire outdoor sporting goods retailer, Eastern Mountain Sports, which does not sell any Nike clothing, for bidding on the term “Dri-Fit” in Google’s advertising system.

Large Yahoo Shareholder Wants a Probe of Vote - One of Yahoo largest and most critical shareholders, Capital Research Global Investors, said on Monday it had asked for a probe of last week’s shareholder vote which showed strong support for Chief Executive Jerry Yang.
