RightoftheDot/ 4.CN Auction Sells Over $871K in Domains - The RightoftheDot.com domain name auction on the 4.cn platform as part of the Domainfest.asia conference generated over $871,000 in sales.
All sales were led by a three number .com, 586.com which sold for $416,000
The two next highest sales, zhou.com and 8.xyz were both listed at no reserve.
Several of the domain name sales occurred, as they often do after the domain auction concluded which is why it took RightoftheDot.com some time to wind up the auction and first publish the results.

I’ve been a bit confused by NamesCon’s strategy with DOMAINfest after acquiring the brand. The one day add-ons to existing domain name conferences haven’t made much sense to me.
But now DOMAINfest is hosting a complete conference, this time in Macau, China.

My Picks for a Moniker Extended Auction Ending Wednesday -
The good and the bad in auction ending tomorrow.
The DOMAINfest Barcelona extended Moniker domain auction on SnapNames with nearly 500 domain names concludes Wednesday.
Domains range in price from no reserve to nearly $6.5 million for WorkatHome.com. Intriguingly missing from the auction is Social.com, which received a $2.5 million bid during the live auction.

DOMAINfest Changes NYC Show Format to Meetup, Nixes Las Vegas -
New York show changed to a meetup and Las Vegas show canceled.
Oversee.net has made some changes to its remaining DOMAINfest shows for 2011.
First, the New York show planned for August will now be an evening meetup instead of a one day “Power Networking” day. The event will take place August 23 from 7-10 pm at the Mad46 Rooftop Lounge. Registration isn’t open yet but the web site notes it will be $150.

DOMAINfest returns to Barcelona next week, the home of its first ever conference in 2006.

DOMAINfest is the best domain name conference, according to survey respondents in the Sixth Annual Domain Name Wire Survey.
42% of those that have attended a domain conference said DOMAINfest is best. 39% said TRAFFIC was best.
