According to the developer of the site, not only it makes DNPric.es, the first one to gather so much public entries in one place, it is also times bigger than any other known data provider.
According to the statistics section on the site:
“The database has 1,089,771 sales records of 1,015,189 domain names totaling sales of $1,605,714,604”
That is over $1.6 Billion dollars in domain name sales.

DomainTools suspends “abusive” accounts -
Domain data provider takes steps to eliminate abusive and auto generated accounts.
DomainTools is taking steps to remove abusive and auto-generated accounts that use its service, company CEO Tim Chen announced on the company’s blog today.
Chen explained that the company had previously been lax about closing accounts unless they leaked valuable data or affected site operation. It was concerned about false positives (shutting down legitimate accounts).

DomainTools Turns on “Recent Whois” For Go Daddy Domain Names -
Site begins showing older whois records.
DomainTools has come up with a (perhaps interim) solution after Go Daddy started blocking some whois services from accessing its full records.
Searches at DomainTools for domain names registered at Go Daddy now include a “recent whois record” with the note “We provide this record when data provided by the registrar is missing key information.”

Westerdal files counterclaims against Thought Convergence in legal battle.
Name Intelligence founder Jay Westerdal has filed a counterclaim (pdf) against Thought Convergence, Inc. (TCI) in a legal battle over TCI’s acquisition of his company.

Survey: Sedo “Most Innovative” Domain Aftermarket Company -
Company selected as “Most Innovative” when it comes to selling domain names.
45% of those surveyed in Domain Name Wire’s third annual survey believe Sedo is the “Most Innovative” company in the domain aftermarket. This is the first year the question was asked on the survey.
