Ralph Lauren Launching New PoloTech Shirt, Domains Registered In The 90's - Ralph Lauren is getting ready for an August 27, 2015 launch of a “smart shirt” using the moniker of PoloTech according to BrandChannel.com. As a domain name investor, I often read articles like the above mentioned and pick out generic terms and check the availability of the them as domain names. This often results in most terms as domain names being registered in .Com’s but it’s simply amazing that often times, the terms are registered already and for how long many of them are! So, using ... read more ...

Brand Blunders: Domino's Files UDRP To Get The Domain Dominos.Pizza: Wynn On Wynn.Vegas - Domino’s pizza has filed a UDRP to gain control of the new gTLD domain name Dominos .Pizza. For me its another huge brand failure to protect a brand, on a bang on new gTLD domain. Last week we saw what happened when Bloomberg allowed a third party to register Bloomberg.Market by failing to register the domain name in Sunrise which led to a huge swing in the price of Twitter when a story on that faked Bloomberg site caused shares to rise as much as 8%. As we have chatted about before while I can ... read more ...

From the article: As millions clamor to the Web for news of a Grexit, many will mistakenly land on the website of Grexit—a ... read more ...

Barclays has a home during Home.Barclays - Barclays has found a home now at Home.Barclays, back in May they said they would be transitioning away from the .com and the .co.uk. They said they would be adding a layer of security for customers and clients by allowing only Barclays and Barclaycard to set up websites ending in .barclays and .barclaycard. So now Barclays has the .com redirecting to Home.Barclays but not the .co.uk, that domain still stands alone and does not redirect. NoMoreRack.com rebrands to Choxi.com - Internet retailer NoMoreRack.com has rebranded, the name they chose is Choxi, according to the company it is hybrid of “Chock Full” and Choice.
