The new gTLD string was set for an ICANN auction on July, 29th 2015 but several applications were withdrawn today indicating that .Art was settled privately. Rightside Publishes Post On Taking Down The Bloomberg.Market Website - Rightside (NAME) just published a post about the new gTLD domain name Bloomberg.Market which as we wrote earlier today which led to a huge rally in shares of Twitter and more than 50 million shares being traded today which is more than double its average three-month volume. Fake Story on New gTLD Domain, Bloomberg.Market Sends Twitter Shares Up Over 5% -   According to several sources, a fake news story appearing on a new gTLD domain name Bloomberg.Market sent shares of Twitter up over 5% today when they reported Twitter was going to be bought for $31 Billion dollars to over $38 a share. .News Sets Record With Of Over 400 Registrations on Day 5 of EAP; Now Over 1,000 - The new gTLD .News has set what WE believe is a record number of domain name registrations in Day 5 of AN Early Access Program (EAP) and now has over 1,000 registration. In the Early Access Program registrants pay an extra fee to register a domain name ahead of general availability (GA) where domain names become available to be registered on a first come, first served basis. Reliance Industries Of India To Move From Its .Com (RIL.com) To Its Own new gTLD .Jio - Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Industries (RIL) has decided to move away from “.com” to the new gTLD .JIO to be used across the Reliance empire. .News Gets At Least 45 Registrations On Day 1 Of EAP At $10K+ - Looks like the new gTLD .News is going to be a big winner for Rightside (NAME). The 1st day of the Early Access Program is about to close at 1pm EST today where people could get first shot at registering domain names at a wholesale cost of $10,000 per (retail price varies by registrar, plus any premium registration cost, if any). Paul Allen Decides To Go With .Fish instead of shopping a .com from Most Wanted Domains - Jay Westerdal blogged on Tuesday about Microsoft co – founder and billionaire Paul Allen going with a .Fish domain. Architelos Latest State of Abuse Report Shows .Science leads New G's when it comes to spam - Architelos puts out a State of Abuse report that looks at which domain extensions are being used the most for things like spam and phishing. Their latest report shows data from May, Ten New gTLDs comprised 77% of the 143 new phishing reports in May 2015. This equates to 24 phishing reports per million new gTLD domains under management.
