Here's what's function during Rightside - Company will invest more in marketing to improve new top level domain name results. Yesterday, Rightside released Q4 earnings. The good news is that it turned in record revenue and an adjusted EBITDA that topped guidance. The bad news is that revenue growth over Q3 was nominal, especially for new top level domain names. While it’s probably fairer to look at year-over-year revenue growth in most product lines, new TLDs are different. Rightside needs to show strong quarter-over-quarter growth in ... read more ...

Grumpy a Cat and Rob Corddry give Name.com a High Five - Celebrities give Name.com a high five. Name.com did a rather clever marketing gimmick during SXSW Interactive in Austin. It sent one of its customer service reps to the city as “High Five Guy”. For every high five he got (10,000) the company donated 5 cents to an Austin charity. It’s difficult to attract attention during the noise of SXSW, but High Five Guy appears to have done the trick. The charity element certainly didn’t hurt. Humorous Twitter review between Name.com and Go Daddy - Two domain registrars have fun with each other on Twitter. Name.com also likes to take jabs at Go Daddy, like this parody Super Bowl commercial. So I found this Twitter conversation between @namedotcom and @godaddy rather humorous. (Note: this conversation is from before the Super Bowl.) I hope ... read more ...
