National Arbitration Forum Now Taking .Co Disputes -
Two largest UDRP administrators now handling .co domain name disputes.
[Update: Apparently NAF started offering .co disputes last fall. This is the first time I’ve seen a .co dispute there.] National Arbitration Forum has joined World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in offering dispute resolution services for .co domain name.
When .co relaunched last year the only authorized UDRP provider was WIPO.

.Co Sedo Auction Nets Around $150K - The .Co Sedo auction just ended up with a with around $150,000 in sales.
Music.co lead the way selling for $30K
Shop.co sold for $22K
Love.co sold for $2oK. (Love.com is owned by AOL and pretty much sits unused)
Creditcard.co sold for $17K (creditcards.co only got as high as a $7K bid)
Pizza.co sold for $15K
Vodka.co for $10K
Download.co sold for $10K
There were several domains that sold in the $5k and lower range.

2 Big Domain Name Auctions To Close Tomorrow: DomainFest & Sedo .Co & Neither Have Much Bidding (that has met reserve) - 2 big auctions are set to close tomorrow and neither have many winning bids as of time of publication.

.Co Three Letter Domains 95% Sold Out, 3 Character .Co Domains 46% Sold Out - Over this week there were repeated comments on this blog to the effect that all 3 letter (LLL.co) .Co domain names were registered or reserved, leaving none available.
We reached out to the .Co registry to confirm this and got the following information which is current as of February 9th
“The total number of 3-letter domains (LLL.co) registered is 16,551 out of a possible combination of 17,576 so close to 95% have been registered already.”

Article highlights commercialization of two letter country code domains.
The New York Times published an article today about the commercialization of country code top level domain names.
Colombia’s .co will get major attention after a Go Daddy commercial plugs it today, and .co was front and center in the article.

Companies have filed 51 UDRPs against .co domain names since the relaunch of .co into an international domain name extension over the summer. They haven’t lost yet.
Complainants are 25-0 in cases that have been decided, and further settled seven cases prior to having them heard by World Intellectual Property Organization panelists.

Breaking News: .Co To Star In Godaddy Super Bowl Commercial - The big news for domainers out of the ICANN meeting in Colombia today was delivered by none other than Bob Parsons CEO of Godaddy.
Tonight .Co held a party for some of the attendees of the ICANN meeting.

The registrar has made a deal with .CO Internet to share the cost of the big-money ad – exact terms have not been disclosed – in what will be the biggest marketing deal for .co to date.

i.Co Hits The Auction Block Powered By Moniker/SnapNames.com - According to Mashable, the single letter domain name i.Co has hit the auction block.
All the information about the auction is at i.Co
The auction was announced today at the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco.
Every bidder will have to be pre-qualified to bid in the auction and the pre-qualification period ends on January 21, 2011.
