New gTLDs Make US, UK Web Users Feel Less Secure Online: Survey - Change is scary, and that could be part of why 87 percent of consumers are uncomfortable visiting websites that use new generic top-level domains. According to a recent survey by NCC Group, 40 percent of web users in the US and UK feel less secure online since new gTLDs were introduced.
