Are Domainers Concerned by New gTLDs? - OHHHHHHHHH yes they are.I recently spoke on the phone to a French domainer about new gTLDs. There are not so many of them in France that can make decent money from reselling domain names. His story was pretty straightforward: “my list is ready and I have not used any pre-registration platform. I will register when new domains extensions are open to all”. Washington Post’s 2014 In and Out List: .Com’s are Out, .EverythingElse is in - Xavier, I’ve been gathering some info/stats on all of the Fortune 500 company names the domain names they use. I know the list changes but IIRC, maybe a couple used .net and ALL of the rest used .com when I went through it. These companies are not going to gamble on switching to a .gtld They don’t need to.
