EdibleArrangements.com Acquires Edible.com - Another single word .Com is off the market probably forever as EdibleArrangements.com just acquired the domain name Edible.com.
The domain transferred over according to DomainTools.com in late June of this year.
The domain name Edible.com is being forwarded to their site so they are not re-branding to the shorter domain which I think is a good idea in this case.
The previous owner was listed as Todd Dalton of London UK.
The domain has an original registration date as best as I can tell of 1998.

Verisign To Hammer ICM’s & ICANN’s Motion To Dismiss Manwin Claims - A federal court made a ruling in the case involving Manwin, the owner of YouPorn.com, brought against ICM, the operator of the .XXX extension, and ICANN the non-profit organization which gave ICM the contract to operate the .XXX TLD ICM.
The ruling involved ICM ICANN’s motion to dismiss the case.
Bottom line ICM ICANN got two of the 2 of the 6 cause of actions thrown out but the court let the case continue on 4 of the 6 claims.

In The Biggest Reported .Co Sale of 2012, Cruises.co Sold For $82,500 - In what appears to be the biggest .Co sale of 2012, I received an a copy of an escrow transaction from the seller showing they sold the domain name Cruises.co for $82,500.
The buyer seems to be the same buyer who bought Cruise.co from one of Mike Mann’s company’s Codom Holdings, LLC, in 2010 for $25K, Cruise.Co.Uk Ltd.
Cruise.co has the same logo Cruise.co.uk but a clearly different format.

Citibank: New gTLD .Citi Is Not Confusing to Applications For .City or .CITIC -
Citibank today filed two comments with ICANN stating that theie application for .Citi should not be found to be confusing similar to either the 3 applications for .City (although the are pronounced exactly the same) or for the brand application for .CITIC filed by .CITIC Group Corporation.
Citibank filed the comment pro-actively as I don’t see any objections to .Citi filed by anyone else based off of confusion.

40% of total sales were the result of Buy Now listings.

Afternic.com Sells $1.1MM in Domains Led By ZenSocial.com At $15K - Afternic.com just published its report of domain name sales totaling $1,108,957 for the week ending August 12th, 2012. The publicly reportable sales were led by ZenSocial.com for $15,000, followed by CupOfCoffee.com for $12,000.

Lish.com Bought For $45k on Sedo in Jun By Payvment Launches & Gets Covered By TechCrunch.com - The domain name Lish.com sold on Sedo.com in June for $45,000.
Today according to a press release, the buyer of the domain is Payvment, which calls itself “the number one Facebook ecommerce platform”, launched a site on the domain.
Payvment has raised $7.75 Million in funding.
Lish.com also got some love from TechCrunch.com which ran a story on it today.
