DOMAINfest Changes NYC Show Format to Meetup, Nixes Las Vegas -
New York show changed to a meetup and Las Vegas show canceled.
Oversee.net has made some changes to its remaining DOMAINfest shows for 2011.
First, the New York show planned for August will now be an evening meetup instead of a one day “Power Networking” day. The event will take place August 23 from 7-10 pm at the Mad46 Rooftop Lounge. Registration isn’t open yet but the web site notes it will be $150.

DOMAINfest takes top honors again.
DOMAINfest is the best domain name conference, according to survey respondents in the Sixth Annual Domain Name Wire Survey.
42% of those that have attended a domain conference said DOMAINfest is best. 39% said TRAFFIC was best.

Survey takers rank domain name forums.
Once again DNForum is the highest rated domain name forum.
That’s according to over 1,500 people who took the 6th Annual Domain Name Wire Survey.
48% selected DNForum as the top forum for discussing domain names, up from 37% last year.
NamePros came in a distant second place with 21%, followed by the private Domain Boardroom at 14%.
