WIPO sees UDRP increase - Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) complaints increased 2 percent in 2014, according to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Trademark owners filed 2,634 cases concerning 5,591 domain names through the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center. WIPO also speculated that registrations in new gTLDs have triggered UDRP cases.
