New gTLD Program Committee On Collision Report: Registries Can Launch If They Block A Lot Of Domains/Calls For More Study/.CORP & .HOME Are Doomed - The New gTLD Program Committee (NGPC) made its recommendations tonight to the ICANN Board on the Collision report and its pretty messy. In short the NGPC recommends additional  study of the issue without a stated time frame, but with the exception of .Corp and .Home which seem to be indefinitely delaye, gives all other registries the option to proceed to delegation prior to receiving its SLD collision occurrence assessment report, if the registry operator initially blocks all SLDs that appear in ... read more ...

Desi Networks LLC Wins, Afilias Withdraws .Desi - Desi Networks LLC, in a press released announced they won a private auction, held by Innovative Auctions on August 13, 2013, it is now the sole applicant for the .desi gTLD. Are These The 107 New gTLD Extensions Donuts Partnered With Demand Media On? - Donuts.co which applied for 307 new gTLD strings has stated all along that they were in partnership with Demand Media (DMD) on 107 of the applications. WIth Over 2,500 Votes PC Advisor Poll On New gTLD’s Says 25% Of People Are Planning On Buying 1 - Two weeks ago we told you that PCadvisor.co.uk opened up a poll on the new gTLD program Today total votes received broke the 2,500 mark and the results are pretty interesting.
