Alpnames.com Offering Free .Party New gTLD Domain Name Registrations - Alpnames.com the registrar who offered free and then $.49 domain names for .Science which just broke the 250,000 domain registration mark, announced today that is was now offering free .Party domains. Famous Four Media is the registry for both .Science and .Party. ICM Just Made $1.2 Million On Sunrise Registrations For A $370K Investment - The ICM registry,  which is the operator of .XXX, announced a short time ago that their two new extensions .porn and .adult each got around 4,000 registrations in the Sunrise Period which was opened to trademark holders. New gTLD .Science Tops 220K Registrations; Passes .Club; & Who Is AlpNames.com? -                 The new gTLD .Science has now blown by the 220K domain name registration mark hitting 223,159 according to ntldstats.com becoming the 2nd most registered new gTLD passing .club It was just 11 days ago we wrote about .Science hitting the 120K domain registration mark and questioning the type of registrations the extension was getting. .Science has picked up over 100,000 domain name registrations in those 11 days. .Science is operated by Famous Four Media. .Fit Finishes 1st Day Of General Availability With 1,269 Domains - .Fit which launched into General Availability yesterday by Minds + Machines wound up with 1,269 domain names including selling some of those premium domain names we talked about yesterday. .Fit had less than 75 domains registered during the sunrise period by trademark holders so basically picked up 1,200 registrations yesterday. .Video Hits EAP Today & 85% Of All Premiums Are Priced during $200 or Less - .Video is entered the Early Access Program (EAP) today (day 1) and based on the volume of Sunrise registrations and search data it would seem to be a pretty hot new gTLD. .Fit Launches Today: Here's Our Picks For The Best Domains But They Are Not Cheap - The new gTLD .Fit is launching into general availability today and thought I would let you know my top picks because I won’t be registering any of them. .Fit seems to be a limited extension when it comes to natural terms as Fit is falling on the wrong side of the dot. ICANN Board Gives Go Ahead To Hotels/.Hoteis Contention Set In Denying Booking.com Reconsideration Request - The ICANN Board has rejected Booking.com request for reconsideration and thereby is allowing the Contention set of Hotels/.Hoteis to move forward to being resolved. Majority of the check respondents see new gtld registrations finale 2015 on a green note - We started a poll two months ago that asked, “How Many New gTLD Registrations Will There Be By The End of 2015?” Currently there are over 5 million new gtld registrations according to multiple sources such as ntldstats.com. Associations not authorised to arrangement listings underneath .realtor domain - There is a rift between Move Inc. and the National Association of Realtors, Inman.com reports that associations will not be able to display or even link to property listings on a .Realtor domain. Walmart Files UDRP on New gTLD Domain Walmart.LGBT -       Walmart has filed a UDRP on the new gTLD domain Walmart.lgbt. The new domain extension .LGBT,  for those that may not know,  “is the first internet address created specifically for connecting with the Lesbian, Gay Bisexual and Transgender community.” and is operated by Afilias. New gTLD's Hit The Big Screen As The Official Site For The New Ryan Reynolds Movie Self/Less - The new gTLD’s have made it to the big screen. Big Screen, as in a Movie trailer that a reader of  TheDomains.com was nice enough to send me. The movie is Self/Less is opening July 10th and stars Ryan Reynolds and Ben Kinsley. Minds + Machines: Premium Names Are 3%.of Registrations; 25% of Revenue - Minds + Machines Group Limited (LSE:MMX), released some interesting information in a press release we received overnight. Premium Names accounts for approximately 3%. of Minds + Machines new gTLD registrations,  but accounts for 25% of its revenue. .Science Still Getting Over 3K registrations A Day: Is This a Revolution or Another .TK - .Science which launched at the end of February is still adding more domain registrations a day than any other new gTLD extension by far on a daily basis Yesterday .Science added another 3K+ domain registrations as it did the day before and the day before that.
