Mrs Jello sues to retard Camilla.com transfer - UDRP panel ordered generic domain name to be transferred to Australian company.
Mrs Jello LLC, a company formed by the late Igal Lichtman, has filed a lawsuit to block the transfer of Camilla.com after an adverse UDRP decision.
Camilla Australia Pty Ltd tried to buy the domain name for AUS $50,000 to upgrade its domain Camilla.com.au. When it was rebuffed by Mrs Jello, it decided to file a UDRP. Mrs Jello had purchased the domain name for $16,100.

.XYZ asks Verisign to compensate $1.6 million in fees from lawsuit - The .XYZ domain name registry has asked a court (pdf) to force Verisign to pay $1.6 million in fees and expenses related to the lawsuit Verisign filed against it.
Verisign, the $10 billion (market cap) company that runs .com, sued XYZ for false advertising claims.
The judge overseeing the case eventually granted XYZ’s motion for summary judgment.

After failing to recover the allegedly stolen domain name OnlineMBA.com through a UDRP, the previous owner of the domain name has turned to the courts.

The domain name Ape.com is the subject of a lawsuit just filed in U.S. District Court in Florida – Key West Division.
The dispute is a weird one, and it sounds like the Scheu family doesn’t get together for Thanksgiving.

Lawsuit filed to redeem stolen preparation domain names - Suit alleges a dozen domain names were stolen using compromised email address.
Texas company CMN.com LLC has filed a lawsuit to recover 12 domain names it alleges were stolen from it.
According to the suit, the thief gained access to one of its email addresses and was able to use this to transfer the domain names to another registrar. The domains have various whois records, but the lawsuit claims that all of the domains were transferred by someone using one IP address.

Former GoDaddy employees contend they're due overtime - Plaintiffs say they shouldn’t have been categorized as exempt and are owed overtime.
Three former* GoDaddy employees have sued the company, saying they should be paid overtime for work in excess of 40 hours per week.
Sal Careaga, Joshua Berry and Amanda Collins each worked in the Website Design Department, which designs websites for GoDaddy customers. The plaintiffs claim they worked more than 40 hours in some workweeks, but were not paid time-and-a-half.

A U.S. Federal Court has ordered the domain names 224.com, 605.com and 452.com be returned to Traffic Names, Ltd.
Ian Andrew of Traffic Names filed suit last year alleging the domain names were stolen from his eNom account. He found out about the theft after the domain names were listed for sale on domain name marketplace 4.cn. 4.cn noticed the recent ownership change and contacted Andrew to make sure he was aware.

The company behind PornHub.com, RedTube.com and YouPorn.com has filed multiple lawsuits in U.S. District court against the owners of at least ten domain names it alleges are cybersquatting on its brands. Company upset over blogs using “Bloomberg” in subdomain and scraping Bloomberg content.
Bloomberg has filed a lawsuit (pdf) in U.S. District Court in New York against four John Does using Google’s Blogger service.
The defendants have set up blogs on the service that use third level domains that include the Bloomberg name. Bloomberg says the defendants are committing trademark infringement.

Long legal battle between Moniker founder and Oversee.net is over.
Moniker.com founder Monte Cahn has dismissed his lawsuit against Oversee.net regarding money he said he was owed under a bonus plan.
Cahn joined Oversee.net after Seevast sold Moniker to Oversee.net. Cahn left Oversee at the end of 2010. In May 2011 he filed a lawsuit against the company arguing he was due part of a $13 million bonus plan.

Lawsuit over FACI.com is about more than just a single domain name.
In April I wrote about how a WIPO panel “stole” FACI.com from BuyDomains (NameMedia) in a faulty UDRP decision. I also mentioned that I hoped BuyDomains would turn to the courts to over the issue.
On Friday George Kirikos noticed that the company did indeed turn to the courts, filing a lawsuit in Massachusetts. The suit is fairly bread-and-butter for declaratory and injunctive relief.
