Sedo links adult with .EU whois to sell domains - Name not available? Whois searchers will now see if it’s for sale.
EURid is now showing if a domain name is listed for sale at Sedo when someone does a whois lookup, and linking directly to the sale listing.
This is a nifty deal. Keep in mind that full .eu whois records are only available at EURid’s website, so many people use the actual website to look up whois records. EURid Gets 5 More Years To Run The .EU Registry -
EURid which has been operating the .EU domain name extension since it was launched, has been confirmed as the registry manager of the .EU top-level domain for the next five years.

.Eu Issues 2nd Quarter Report & Ends Quarter with 3.7 Million Registered Domain Names - Eurid,the company behind .EU extension,released its Q2 2013 progress report tonight.(pdf)
The report shows that .EU registrations increased in 13 of the 28 EU Member States to reach 3.70 million domain names
Bulgaria,Slovenia and Austria saw a growth of more than 5%, however total number of .Eu registrations actually declined in the 2nd quarter despite a renewal rate of 85% .
During Q2 2013, the number of .eu registrations decreased by 18,837 domain names, a net loss of 0.5%, to 3.70 million.

Sedo adds three ccTLDs to distribution network.
SedoMLS, the domain listing distribution system for Sedo, has signed up new registries that will enable it to sell more types of domain names.
Last week Sedo announced a partnership with EURid, the .eu registry, added the .eu domain extension to the SedoMLS Premium network. [Sedo was able to do this because EURid, the .eu registry, made its transfer system automatic.]

.EU Celebrates 7th Birthday & 3.74 Million Registration; 1.84 Million Eu Residents Own One - EURid the registry for the .Eu TLD released a study today ahead of its 7th Birthday.
To date there are over 3.74 Million .Eu registrations.
Over 1.84 million EU residents have registered at least one .eu domain name, with 25% of those having registered more than one.
“The research also shows that the majority of .eu users are in business, ambitious, tech-savvy and aiming for expansion, which is where the .eu TLD is important in projecting a continent-wide image.”

.Eu 3Q 2012 Report is Out & Registrations Increase By Over 7% To 3.67 Million; Renewal Rate 81%; 16K Domains Traded - EURID the company that manages the .Eu ccTLD issued its report this morning for the third quarter of 2012.
Here are the relevant numbers:
“The number of registered .eu domain names rose by 7.4% to 3.67 million when compared with Q3 2011.”
“This year-over-year growth is very much in line with Q2’s result of 7.6%”.
“There were 8% more new .eu registrations in Q3 than during the same months last year.”

3 Million .EU Domain Names Registered -
.EU domain name registrations continue growth, but is it being used?
The domain registration ticker at EURid, registry for .eu domain names, has crossed the 3 million domain name milestone. According to statistics from EURid, about 50,000-60,000 new .eu domain names are registered every month. Germany and the Netherlands outpace other European countries in .eu domain registrations.
