Domain name discussion designed in Hong Kong to coincide with INTA meeting -
New TLDs come to Hong Kong.
DotAsia and Momentum Events are planning a domain name conference in Hong Kong May 13-14, coinciding with the International Trademark Association (INTA) annual meeting taking place in the same city.
The event is a combination of DotAsia’s “Internet of Names” meeting and Momentum’s “Digital Marketing gTLD Strategy Congress” events.

With over 400 attendees, NamesCon is nearing capacity.
I’m not sure what constitutes a “sell out”, but apparently this month’s NamesCon conference is nearing its capacity:

Conference organizer World Congress is planning its 2nd Annual Generic Top-Level Domain (gTLD) Names Summit for this September.

Registration open for August’s domain name conference.
Registration for The T.R.A.F.F.I.C. domain name conference taking place in Dublin, August 24-26, is now open. Early pricing until July 15 is €695, although there’s also a link for a lower $730 USD price at the time of writing. Hotel rooms are available for only 159 EUR per night.
