Are .MX Domains Worth Anything? - Ok so I’m the first to admit when it comes to ccTLD’s, I’m far from an expert and have very few ccTLD domains.

Sky has some US programming like ESPN, but all the commercials are from Mexico for a Mexican audience (of course they have a ton of spanish programming as well).
Here’s what I noticed when it comes to domains and ... read more ...

I don’t own very many .us domains, but this sure looked like a good one, especially in light of the success of Hollywood.com and Hollywood.tv.
After much debate between myself and myself, I passed, but still think it was a very good buy at $5,722, where it sold on SnapNames.com today.
Another interesting domain was candycompany.com which sold for $6,800 on NameJet.com.

ICANN Has Little Power On ccTLD’s & UDRP’s Rarely Apply - Over the last week, I have talked about the .cm extension on several occasion (here, here, and here) and in the comments to the post it appears there is a lot of confusion in the domainer community as to ICANN’s role in ccTLD’s
The short answer is, they don’t have much.
ICANN territory is Top Level Domains, the 21 existing TLD’s and the new proposed g’TLD’s
