Kain Automotive has changed their domain name from KainAutomotive.com to the new gTLD Kain.Auto becoming one of the first registrants of the new gTLD .auto.
The domain name KainAutomotive.com is now being forwarded to the new gTLD Kain.Auto
The domain name Kain.auto was created on November 3.

Autobytel Buys Dealix, Owner Of UsedCars.com In $25 Million Deal - Publicly traded Autobytel Inc. (Nasdaq: ABTL) has acquired Dealix, owner of UsedCars.com for $25 Million in an all cash deal.
The registrant for the domain name UsedCars.com was CDK Global, LLC and they are a wholly-owned subsidiaries of Dealix. The transaction took place May 21, 2015 according to a press release by Autobytel.
Autobytel is no stranger to premium generic domain names as they also own Car.com.

Uh-oh: ICANN will be forced to act after opposing .cars decisions -
A conflicting opinion over .cars leads to an interesting contention set problem.
A panelist for a string confusion objection brought by Google against DERcars, LLC over the top level domain name .cars has ruled in favor of Google.
By ruling in favor of Google, that means DERcars’ application for .cars will be put into a contention set with Google’s application for .car.
This creates a big problem.
