Heritage Auctions Runs Ad in New York Times - Heritage Auctions who is scheduled to run their second ever domain auction on April 9, took out an ad in the New York Times. Its nice to see Aron Meystedt and HA do the types of things that many domainers have wanted other auction houses to do for years. Spend some money and do mainstream advertising outside the domain industry. This is a nationwide circulation ad, which according to Wikipedia is 1,865,318 as of March 2013.

Oil.Center 11,000 GBP Bid on Sedo - Oil.Center was registered by a gentleman in Kuala Lumpur on 3/16/14 and is now on Sedo auctions with a day and a half left at 11,000 GBP. There is only one bid which looks like the owner received the bid and pushed it to auction on 3/24/14.
If its a legit bid, its kind of a ballsy move to send to auction, I personally would want to get that deal closed asap. I think if you have a legitimate buyer interested in something brand new like .center, you don’t want to allow time for buyer’s remorse ... read more ...

DiscoverIndia.com updated and now shutting cost is $5,047 -
Earlier today we wrote about the DiscoverIndia.com auction closing at $106,000.
Go Daddy has updated the closing price, when I checked my watchlist it now shows $5,047 as the closing price. They must have noticed something not right and cancelled the bids that were above $5,047. It looks like it was bidder 11 that they had a problem with. I will speak to Paul Nicks and see if he can shed any new light on the topic.
