QuinStreet Report: Revenue Up 17%, Education Vertical Up 26%; Shares Up 10% - QuinStreet, Inc. Nasdaq:QNST, reported announced its financial results for the fiscal third quarter ended March 31, 2011 yesterday after the market closed and the market reacted very positively.
The Company reported total revenue of $107.7 million, an increase of 19% over the same quarter last year.
Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was $23.2 million, or 22% of revenue.

Hack t.ag Sells For $60,000 on Sedo.com - The domain name t.ag which is a hack for tag, just sold on Sedo.com for $60,000
Probably a record price for a .Ag domains (DnJournal.com will have to confirm).
.Ag is the country code for Antigua and Barbuda (Yes I had to look it up).
The domain was first registered in 2000.
The domain is registered under privacy at Network Solutions but for some reason it showing the owner of the domain anyway and it is listed as Kinetic Fin.

From House Hearing; ICANN: Domainers Are Against New gTLD’s Because They Will Lose The Value Of There Beachfront Property - The House subcommittee on the new gTLD’s just ended in Washington and it was as bloody as expected.
Of course the representative from ICANN, Kurt Pritz its Senior Vice President, didn’t help himself or ICANN but making inaccurate statements, failing to explain the new gTLD process properly or putting the new gTLD process in a positive light.

Blackberry Makes Bing Its Default Search Engine - Give a big check to Microsft today which just beat Goolge out to become the default search engine for all Blackberry devices.
Blackberry devices will use Bing as the preferred search provider in the browser, and Bing will be the default search and map application for new devices presented to mobile operators, both in the US and internationally.

The domain name Cragslist.org (yes its a typo) sold on NameJet.com yesterday for $17,211.
5 bidders were in the auction at $1,000 +
The domain has an Alexa rank of 2.8 Million and Compete is showing Traffic of 300 for last month, but as high as 56,000 per month going back to June 2010.
Of course Craigslist is trademarked and is one of the best known sites on the web.
