Lawley Tells Xbiz .XXX Renewals Are In Line, or Ahead of Other Registries - In a story published by Xbiz.com today, Stuart Lawley CEO of ICM Registry the company that operates the .XXX registry, renewal rates of .XXX domain names “are exactly in line, or in many cases, ahead of those enjoyed by other registries” .Com domains tradtionally run around 73% renewal rates and one of the newest extensions, .Co are running right around 70%. MetaCert: .XXX Domains Account for Just 0.56% Of Porn Less Than .info & .Org - According to a new analysis by MetaCert, a San Fransisco web-blocking firm, Porn is still largely found on .com domain names with .xxx domains ranking only 6th in terms of TLD’s containing the most porn, even behind .org and .info. ICM Registry announced this morning that it is offering a $75 advertising credit to existing .xxx domain owners and anyone who registers a domain by January 31. Verisign To Hammer ICM’s & ICANN’s Motion To Dismiss Manwin Claims - A federal court made a ruling in the case involving Manwin, the owner of YouPorn.com, brought against ICM, the operator of the .XXX extension, and ICANN the non-profit organization which gave ICM the contract to operate the .XXX TLD ICM. April’s ICANN Registry Reports Are Out & .XXX Adds 30,000 Registrations Since December - The Registry reports are out for April 2012, and it looks like ICM registry the owner of .XXX extension is up to 134,884 registrations. As of December 2011, the month .XXX launched, they reported 106K registrations, so they have added almost 30K domain registrations in 4 months. .XXX Adds 7,360 Registrations In Feb & Takes In Over $450K - The monthly ICANN reports are out for February  and ICM operator of the .XXX TLD reported 6,352 one year registrations, 652 two year registrations, 196 three year registrations and 160 five year registrations. So that is a total of 7,360 new registrations for the month of February 2012, or 9,044 in total taking into account the multiple years.
