URS Filed On Branson.Guru This Could Be A Game Changer For The New gTLD’s - A Uniform Rapid Suspension (URS) was filed today on the domain name Branson.Guru This is the first URS that has been filed which in my opinion should not be granted. The complainant is not listed but based on recent activity I’m going to assume its Richard Branson CEO of Virgin. The problem is that there is also a city by the name of Branson, which is in Missouri, and a pretty large tourist attraction. First URS Decision Published on New gTLD’s - The first Uniform Rapid Suspension decision has been issued. The case was decided 9 days ago, which was 6 days after the 1st URS was filed on the domain names; ibm.guru and ibm.ventures. IBM Wins Its URS On IBM.ventures & IBM.Guru 6 Days After Filling - IBM has won the first Uniform Rapid Suspension (URS) filed on new gTLD domain names. On February 6th IBM filed the first URS on the new gTLD domains IBM.ventures and IBM.Guru Yesterday the Nation Arbitration Forum is showing as the domain names being in SUSPENDED FINAL status. IBM wins initial new tip turn domain URS case - Panel hands down decision within one week. IBM has won the first ever Uniform Rapid Suspension case for new top level domain names. A National Arbitration Forum panelist ruled in the company’s favor in a dispute over IBM.guru and IBM.ventures. Both domain names will be suspended but not transferred to IBM. ICANN Approves Renewal Of .Info; .Org and .Biz Registry Contracts Without URS Being Included - According to a resolution passed by the ICANN Board,  ICANN has renewed the registry contracts for the .info, .biz and .org contracts without the Uniform Rapid Suspension (URS) being included.
