Verisign Renews Contract With Tuvalu To Run .TV Registry Through 2021 - I have confirmed that Verisign has they have signed an extension with the government of Tuvalu to operate the ccTLD domain name extension .TV through December 31, 2021. Prior to the extension, Verisign’s agreement with Tuvalu to operate the .TV ccTLD, only ran through 2016. .TV Registry Changes Policy To Take Back Any Expired 1 Character Domain As They Take Back G.TV - Over last weekend the super premium one letter .TV domain name G.TV was suppose to drop as the former owner failed to renew it. However instead of dropping the domain for what would have been a one time payment of $4,750, the domain name was taken back by the .TV registry and not allowed to drop. MTS.TV Sells For $33,500 On Sedo - The Domain Name MTS.TV just sold on a Sedo.com auction today for a whopping $33,700. The auction had 3 bidders battling it out through the $20′s and $30′s before closing at $33,700. Its one of the higher priced .Tv sales I have seen in a while. At first blush a lot of domainers might not understand As to whom would want or pay anything near this much for a three letter .TV domain. .TV Investors Take Note, Tuvalu Is Not Happy With The Deal They Have With Verisign - According to Radio New Zealand International blog, the country of Tuvlau which owns the rights to the .TV ccTLD, is not happy with the deal it has with Verisign. According to the Finance Minister of Tuvalu’s, Lotoala Metia says  the country isn’t getting enough money from the US company which bought the dot-tv internet domain off it. Sedo .TV Auction Ends With $800K In Sales: Our Winners & Losers - The Sedo .TV auction just ended after about 2 1/2 hours of extended bidding when loans.TV  sold for around $14K. Business.TV lead the pack and broke the six figure mark selling for just over $100K. Learn.TV sold for $40K+ Job.tv and jobs.tv sold for $20k+ each.
