Are Ad Agencies and Marketing Professionals Proficient in a Domain Game ? - Dima Beitzke the chief sales officer at Sedo wrote a piece for iMediaconnection.com that asked if ad agencies and marketing professionals are equipped to play the domain game ? The article did not get much engagement with only 4 twitter shares and 2 fb likes, there were no comments. From the article: Finding the right name ... read more ...

17 finish user domain name sales, including a large .Me - An antiquated technology term in .me sells for five figures. Sedo sold $1 million worth of domain names last week. While this week’s list doesn’t include as many end user buyers as the last one (at least publicly), a lot of smaller businesses bought domain names. One of the most amusing ones is Telegram.me at $10,000. Now, be honest — if someone told you they registered a domain name with telegram in it, you’d laugh at him. Right? $25,000 new TLD sale among this week’s finish user domain name sales - Travel company is among at least four end users who bought new TLDs at Sedo this past week. There is an aftermarket for new top level domain names. It’s not huge, and few people are getting rich from it. But there is a market. Take this week’s $25,000 sale of Baltic.cruises by Viking River Cruises. I’ve seen magazine ads for Viking, which promotes small ship cruises in European rivers for those that don’t want to venture far from shore. This domain was among ... read more ...
