Frank Schilling Rolls Out Automated Finance System On DomainNameSales.com - Frank has rolled out a what he calls an Automated Finance System DomainNameSales.com which sounds like a lease to own system where buyers make a down payment and monthly payments thereafter which would result if all payments are made with the buyer getting ownership of the domain name. All on their credit card. Of course like all such programs, ownership of the domain stays with Name Adminstration pending completion of the final lease payment. Upon making the last payment the buyer will get ownership ... read more ...

The catch is that you have to pay upfront for an Entertainment book and then use the coupons throughout the year. So will Entertainment.com go up ... read more ...

Pepsi’s engaging $8,000 domain purchase - Pepsi buys a hyphenated domain for $8,000 and it won’t be easy to by the unhyphenated version. As I was going through Sedo’s sales report from last week, one domain caught my eye — mostly because of the buyer. PepsiCo bought Green-Label.com for a solid $8,000. I can see a number of uses for this domain, but I’m not sure I’d go with this brand or marketing name if I were Pepsi. Why? GreenLabel.com is owned by an unrelated clothing company. Matt Mazur of Lean Domain Search has posted an analysis of his results showing premium domain names for sale next to available-to-register domain name results. It’s an interesting read. After several months showing domains from Sedo’s inventory he has sent hundreds of targeted buyers but hasn’t made a sale. There are many possible reasons, and he points some of them out.
