Paranormal society fails to win case for Taps.com.
An arbitration panel — presumably made up of humans and not ghosts — has ruled that the The Atlantic Paranormal Society has no rights to the domain name Taps.com.
The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) operates under the web address the-atlantic-paranormal-society.com, so it’s no surprise that the organization is seeking a better domain name.

Big Companies Get Benefit of Doubt in UDRP Decisions -
A recent UDRP decision begs the question, do big companies get the benefit of doubt in UDRP?
Most UDRP arbitration filings are against small time domain owners. So a recent case caught my eye because the respondent was a major media company, Scripps Networks. Scripps networks owns HGTV, Food Network, and DIY network among others.
The case was brought by Automotive Networks Corporation over the domain names WheelsTV.com and MyWheelsTV.com. Scripps won because the ... read more ...

DomainFight Searches UDRP Arbitration Cases -
Search tool scans both NAF and WIPO cases.
One of the frustrations I encounter when researching UDRP arbitration cases is that there are two primary databases to search. Most decisions that matter are handled by National Arbitration Forum (NAF) and World Intellectual Property Organizations (WIPO). If I want to look for cases involving a particular person, I have to navigate between both sites to search.
This also annoyed the guys at USpeakWeType Technologies, LLC, ... read more ...

Big Companies Go After .Mobi Domain Names -
This stems from this commentary and many you have posted in the past.

It is clear, very clear, that you don’t like it, have no use for it, and don’t care to hear about about it.
Yet, it is good for the confrontations and good for the controversies it stirs up therefore good for the rankings.
