Was Google Mobilegeddon overblown? - I’m not seeing a big change in results. Are you? Last month I eagerly looked forward to April 21. This was the day, Google told us, that it would start favoring mobile-friendly content in search results. It would have a “significant impact” on search results. Has this had an effect on your mobile-friendly site? I can’t find much (if any) of a change on Domain Name Wire and in general searches. Google: Become mobile friendly, or else… - Google sends warnings to website owners. Google has a message for you: it’s time to make your website mobile friendly or suffer the consequences. The search giant has started sending notices out to Webmaster Tools users notifying them if their site doesn’t work well on mobile resolutions. Google upgrades mobile-friendly sites in hunt results - Sites will get label, and might get a search benefit in the future. Google announced today that it is adding a “mobile-friendly” label to sites in search results, and is experimenting with using mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal.
