GoDaddy released earnings today. Although the company doesn’t directly disclose how much the company paid for Michael Berkens’ Worldwide Media domain name portfolio, there’s a clue.
As of the end of September, the company’s cash flow reconciliation included $30.7 million used for acquisitions. At the end of the year, the number spiked to $66.2 million. That’s a $35.5 million difference.

Michael Berkens wins UDRP box involving dual colorful lawyers -
Randazza and Berryhill square off over X-Videos.com.
Two of the most colorful lawyers in the trademark/UDRP business squared off in a UDRP over one of Michael Berkens’ domain names.
Marc Randazza’s law firm represented WGCZ S.R.O., which filed a UDRP over Berkens’ domain name X-Videos.com. John Berryhill represented Berkens.

Michael Berkens defends RoadWatch.com domain name in UDRP -
Complainant loses all three prongs of case.
Michael Berkens, who runs the domain name blog TheDomains.com, has successfully defended one of his company’s domain names in a UDRP.
Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc filed a UDRP against the RoadWatch.com domain name, a domain that Berkens’ Worldwide Media has owned for about a decade.

Michael Berkens’ Worldwide Media, Inc., has successfully defended its CareFreeHomes.com domain name in a UDRP with the help of attorney Howard Neu.

Company sues to keep domain after surprise UDRP decision.
Michael Berken’s company, WorldWide Media, Inc., has sued Traditional Medicinals Inc., in order to retain the domain name SmoothMove.com.
Earlier this month, a National Arbitration Forum panel found that Worldwide Media must transfer its ownership of SmoothMove.com to Traditional Medicinals. Traditional Medicinals offers a laxative tea called Smooth Move.

SmoothMove.com decision may not be worst, but it should be high on the list.
My blood is boiling. I think I just read one of the worst UDRP arbitration decisions ever.
Michael Berkens got screwed, and I hope he takes action.
In this case, Berkens registered the domain name SmoothMove.com in 2003 and has parked it since then. All of the links have been generic in nature.
