The .Club team is celebrating after crossing the 200,000 registration barrier less than a year after launch.
The numbers can be attributed to a good domain, low pricing, broad distribution and aggressive marketing.
Although officially #3 in the zone file rankings, I believe .Club is #2 in arms-length registrations, behind only .xyz.

Survey: .Club and .Web domain names are favorites - .Club is In Da Club.
.Club is a favorite new top level domain name, according to this year’s Domain Name Wire Survey.
The survey asked which top new level domain name was the respondent’s favorite, as well as which TLD they thought would get the most domain name registrations.
.Club was the runaway answer to both questions. Its heavy marketing and early results (about 200,000 registrations to date) certainly put the domain top of mind.

Jeffrey Sass Talks Dot Club and a formula of the Dot App Poll - In an article by Laurie Sullivan on Media Post which discussed Google paying $25 million for .app, there was also some commentary from Jeffrey Sass about .club. Sass explained how the pricing works at the wholesale and retail level. He gave a little shout out to Credit.club, the $10.99 hand registration that Bruce Marler was able to jump on. Vegas.club site plans unveiled during NamesCon.
.Club has a second $100,000 deal under its belt as part of its Startup.club initiative.
One Degree World Systems, Inc. acquired the domain name Vegas.Club and plans to launch a members-only site for deals, concierge services and more.

Dot Club Surpasses .XXX in Registrations -
.Club today reached 104,573 registered domains according to ntldstats.com, that puts the new gtld ahead of the .xxx extension which had an almost 3 year head start.
The .xxx registration numbers stand at just under 104,000 according to Registrar Stats. Out of all the new gtlds currently released ,Dot Club is ranked number one when it comes to fully paid registrations and in third place over all.
