Why we purebred .Casa and .Work domains - Inexpensive domain names are worth the risk.
I can count on both hands the number of new domain name extensions I’ve registered domains under, and this week I added two more: .casa and .work. Minds + Machines launched both domain names today.
So why .casa and .work? They were price inexpensively, which limited the risk you take registering new top level domain names.

Go Daddy eyes one month registrations for .home and .casa domains -
Company may offer short term registrations if awarded domain names.
Go Daddy is proposing a couple twists in its plan to offer .home and .casa domain names to the public.
A big one: registrations as short as one month.
“Why pay for a year if the domain name will not be needed for a year?”, the company asks in its application.

Go Daddy relates for .home and .casa tip turn domains -
Go Daddy applies for .home, .casa, and .godaddy top level domains.
Domain name registrar Go Daddy has applied for the .home and .casa top level domains, CEO Warren Adelman disclosed to Domain Name Wire. These two domains are in addition to .GoDaddy.
Adelman said the domains were chosen in part because they have multiple meanings with big market opportunities: they can be used in both a real estate context and personal context.
