TaiwanMobile.com Sells For $26K At NameJet.com Or Did It? - TaiwanMobile.com topped the NameJet auctions for the past days at $25,599. However, how the domain was even at auction is quite confusing, as TaiwanMobile.com appears to be the site of that phone company and continues to resolve to them. Normally an expired domain ceases to work upon expiration. Moreover,  the domain does not even appear expired, as the whois is showing and expiration date of  May 18, 2011 and the record was last update all the way back in March, so its not the case of the domain ... read more ...

eHelp.com Sells For $43K At NameJet.com - Just following up on our story yesterday, the domain eHelp.com sold for $42,801 and is a nice sale if its get’s paid for and sticks (Toxic.com still looks like its unpaid for the 2nd time). Yesterday, a couple of other nice domains sold at NameJet.com including santabarbarajobs.com for $1,550, InformationAge.com for $2,665, moneyplanning.com for $3,412, GameMall.com for $3,780 and NewZealand.org for $13,101. Next Big Money Domain? eHelp.com during Over $20K Already At NameJet.com - eHelp.com is in a private auction at NameJet.com ending later today,  and is already has a high bid of over $20K. With 208 bidders in the auction the domain could go easily higher,  but for me I think its already getting pricey and the current high bidders id maybe an indication of the lofty price on the domain: “areyoukiddingme”. NameJet.com Starts Reserve Price Domains Auctions - In what is turning out to be a very busy Fatherday (Best wishes to all of you our there), Namejet.com announced today that is will be start to hold domain auctions with reserve prices for selected domains. NameJet.com generally starts all auctions for the backorder fee of $69. However starting today certain domains will carry a reserve price. Bido.com: 4 Months Later - It’s been about 4 months since Bido.com relaunched and I thought it was time to catch you up with the results. Bido.com, since its inception has had 139 domains sales, on its one domain per day auction format. Total sales for the 139 days, is $170K or about $1,215 per sale, pretty impressive, when you consider that almost all domains are sold with no reserve and start at $1. GoDirect.com Sells for $15K At NameJet.com - It was a busy week at NameJet.com with all the registry .Me auctions. Yesterday an interesting domain, Godirect.com sold for $15,100. Godirect.gov is a site where you go if you want to sign up for direct deposits of government benefits.  The .gov site gets a lot of traffic, compete.com shows it getting over 70K visitors a month.  Compete also shows the .com ranging from 2,500-5,000 visitors a month. Last Day Of .Me Auction At Namejet.com Nets Highest Price Sale: Teach.me Goes For Over $20K - The last, of the 5 day auction for .me registry owned domains just finished at NameJet.com, with Teach.me selling for $20,100, the highest price of any of the .me auctioned off this week. The other 2 .me domains, selling today were, remind.me at $7,700 and gallery.me, one of those .me domains, I just don’t get, sold for just $1,209. What’s A Better Name: CashIsKing.com or HomeBoy.com? - Both domains, CashIsKing.com and HomeBoy.com, ended at auction today at Snapnames.com. Both domains sold in the $x,xxx range, but one sold for considerably more. I bought one of them and let the other one go. Here It Is: AfterMarket’s Live Auction List For DomainRoundtable Show - The Aftermarket Auction list was just released for the DomainRoundtable to be held in Washington DC next week. The auction will be held on Tuesday June 16th at 4pm EST. Our Favorite name after a quick look is a Geo domain, NewRochelle.com at $32K, but some other very good domains are on the list. 4th Day Of NameJet.com .Me Auction: Invite.me Sells For $12K - The 4th day of the .me registry owned domains just concluded with 3 more sales. A great .me domain,  Invite.me lead the pack at $12K, representing the single highest price sale during the NameJet.com .me auction event. TechCrunch.com Covers The Auction Of Wealth.com: Is It Priced Too High? - TechCrunch this morning covers the auction of Wealth.com to be held on June 25th, on Sedo.com. The reserve is set at $2,900,000. TechCrunch and myself agree that the reserve for this domain is too high. Wealth.com, although a very good name is not in the same catagory of toys.com or candy.com or even auction.com I think its a domain that could fetch $1M, but I think the reserve should be more like 500K. Trust.Me Leads NameJet.com On 2nd Day of .Me Auctions during over $10K & A .Org Sells For Over $10K - The second day of the exclusve registry owned .me domains on NameJet.com ended with trust.me selling for $10,799. The other .me auctions ended with, share.me selling for $5K, and beer.me selling for $4,299. I don’t get beer.me at all. Camilla.com Sells For $16K on NameJet.com - The domain Camilla.com sold for $16,100 on NameJet.com another great name for Mrs Jello. There are over 18 million reference to this name on Google. The second highest bidder went by the bidder id of camillacorp, which could have been the clothing company from Australia whose site is at camilla.com.au.  If so they stopped bidding at $16K.
