NewYorkMortgage.com Sells For $13K on NameJet.com & a 2 Letter .Org Goes For Under $7K - The domain NewYorkMortgage.com sold for $12,877 on NameJet.com today,  to lead the pack, closely followed by  GlobalOne.com which sold today or $10K. The term Global One has several trademarks and there are plenty of companies doing business under a variation of this name and was a the name of a huge European telecommunication company until it got bought and absorbed in 2001. UPDATE: Wet.Net Now during Over $21K With Over a Day to Go - We wrote a post a few days ago about whether you would buy or sell some domain currently at auction at Godaddy.com. One of those domains, Wet.net was at the time at $6,500. Now the domain name,  has a high bid of  over $21K with almost 2 days to go. I think that is an outrageous amount of money. Hollywood.us For $5,700, A Bargain or Not? - There were a few interesting domain auctions closing today. One very interesting one was Hollywood.us. I don’t own very many .us domains, but this sure looked like a good one, especially in light of the success of Hollywood.com and Hollywood.tv. After much debate between myself and myself, I passed, but still think it was a very good buy at $5,722,  where it sold on SnapNames.com today. Is Third Time The Charm? Toxic Sells For $27,600 On NameJet.com - Toxic.com sold for the third time on Namejet.com today for $27,600, less than half the original sale price. As you may remember Toxic.com originally sold for $56,566 on May 4th and again on May 2oth for $40,500 after the first bidder defaulted. However in June,  NameJet.com announced a new deadbeat bidder policy which will hopefully mean that the third time will be  the charm, and the domain name will finally get paid for, and find a new home. “Its Deju Vu All Over Again” At NameJet.com - As Hall of Fame catcher, Yogi Berra once said its “Deja Vu all over again“, at least at Namejet.com where  the Domain Toxic.com is making its third appearance. You may recall that the domain, Toxic.com was first auctioned off by NameJet.com on May 4th where it sold for $56,566. The auction winner failed to pay. Then Toxic was re-auctioned and sold for  just over $40K, but again the winner failed to pay. However seems quite high to me. Correction & Clarification on SyFy.com: It Did Not Sell For $250K - Soundly Reasoned: I went into deep detail on the necessity and reason of filing for a trademark and when you don’t. Some of the domains in the auction are resolving to the .com owner’s site. Bodybuilding.cm goes to bodybuilding.com through an affiliate program.
