AlJazeera Media Network of Doha, Qatar, was awarded the domain name Aljazeera.tv by a one member UDRP panel of Assen Alexiev
The domain holder did not respond to the UDRP, nor did the domain seem to be in use in the 6+ years since it was registered.

New gTLD’s Pass 3.3 Million; .Club Passed 140K .NYC Tops 60K; .London Passes 50k - We haven’t done a update of the new gTLD program registrations in a while.
According to nTLDStats.com the total number of new gTLD domain registrations just passed 3.3 million.
.NYC has now passed 60,000 registrations and .London has now passed 50,000 registrations
Rounding out the top 10 of all new gTLD’s .XYZ has the most registrations with 729,999.
.Berlin has passed 154,000 registrations
.Club which was one of the earliest contention sets settled by private auction has passed 140,000 registrations.

Earlier this month OnlineDomain.com, wrote about someone trying to sell the domain name iWire.com which they apparently won at a SnapNames.com but had not yet paid for.
Today I got an email from someone that is trying to sell a domain name that is still in auction today at Namejet.com

Symantec Wins .SECURITY Over Donuts and Defender Security - Symantec Corporation (NASDAQ;SYMC) has won the rights to operate the new gTLD .Security beating Donuts and Defender Security.
You might recall that Defender Security, filed Legal Rights Objections to all other applicants in .Home which was subsequently knocked out by domain collision.

Dubai.co.com was a close second selling for $1,009
The only other domain name of the 20 selling for four figures was Barcelona.co.com which sold for an even $1K.
Four of the domain names sold for the $69 Minimum.

Almost 20,000 .XYZ Collision Domains To Be Released On Dec 2nd: Here Is The List - On December 2, 2014 at 2pm (London Time), .XYZ will be releasing thousands of domain names to the public to register which were held back due to ICANN’s name collision list.
The new domain name extension .XYZ, is the new gTLD’s with the most domain name registrations with over 725,000 according to ntldstats.com

Bitcoin.com.au sells for $31,200 as owners loses a domain due to bad registrant info -
DnTrade.com.au and a few others have been buzzing about Bitcoin.com.au being auctioned off on Netfleet.
Cazalla at Qntra.net wrote the best explanation of what happened, this was the second time Bitcoin.com.au sold this year.
Apparently it is a popular tactic to report domains with bad info in Australia, the author explains, “Australian domainers employ in order to secure premium domains is to look for ones which contain outdated or expired registrant details before lodging a complaint with auDA.”

Symantec Discovers “Regin” A Sophisticated Piece of Malware - Symantec has discovered a piece of malware that has been used to spy on ISP’s and telecom companies that they say was most likely by a government agency. They did not say which government. The malware looks to have been created back in 2008, paused and then started back up.

UDRP Panel Throws Case Out But Doesn’t Find RDNH On Domain Registered 9 Years Before TM - Jobetty LLC, dba Mudpuppy’s Tub Scrub lost its attempt to grab the domain name mudpuppies.com
The three member panel of Nathalie Dreyfus, Sandra J. Franklin and Diane Thilly Cabell basically threw the case out finding the Complainant’s trademark was filed some 9 years after the domain name was registered.
