Where You Can Find Soon To Be Dropped Or Recently Dropped .XXX Domains - I had a reader ask me where they can find recently dropped .XXX domain names. While drop list of .com, .net, .org .tv and .me are easy enough to find .XXX seems harder. I checked Snapnames.com and although they have a .XXX option there are no dropping domain names listed, probably because they don’t try to catch dropping .XXX domains. IFFOR Publishes Two Years Of Tax Returns Showing 85% Of .XXX Domains Don’t Resolve - The International Foundation for Online Responsibility (IFFOR) a not-for-profit organization which was set up as part of ICM application to operate the .XXX registry has now published on its site, its tax returns for 2011 and 2012. .XXX Gets Over 25,000 Domain Years Registered In May Promotion - ICM registry informed us that the final numbers are in for the May discounted .XXX promotion and saw over 25,000 domain years added to the registry. 13,400 new .XXX domain names were registered and the average registration was just under 2 years making the total number of domains years added to .XXX over 25,000. .XXX Sells Over 12,000 Domain Names During May Promotion - xBiz.com is reporting the ICM registry the company that operates the .XXX extension has sold over 12,000 domain names during its May promotion where domain registrations went for a low as $8.99. .XXX 1st Year Renewal Rate Tops 80% - According to figures released by ICANN tonight it looks like the .XXX registry had a renewal rate for its first year of over 80% The ICANN transaction report for January for the .XXX extension show the registry having 113,773 domain names registered by the end of January 2013.
