Chicago Olympics committee wants to get Chicago2016.com.
The Olympic focus right now may be in Beijing for the summer Olympics, but there’s already an Olympic battle in Chicago.
Chicago is in the running for the 2016 Olympics and the Chicago 2016’s
United States Olympic Committee (USOC) uses Chicago2016.org as its web site. It wants to get Chicago2016.com and has filed for arbitration with World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to get the domain name.

C.S. Lewis Beats off .Mobi Cybersquatter -
C.S. Lewis estate gets hands on Narnia.mobi.
I have to hand it to Richard Saville-Smith and his family. Ever since the estate of C.S. Lewis, famous for The Chronicles of Narnia books, filed a UDRP against him for registering Narnia.mobi, his family has put on the pity plea with the media.
How could they do this to our child, a big Narnia fan? We only registered it for a personal e-mail address. What horrible big money machine would come after us poor saps?

.UK Registry Nominet Gets Nominet.com -
Registry for United Kingdom domain names gets .com version of its name through UDRP.
Nominet, the registry responsible for managing the .uk country code domain name, has won the domain name Nominet.com through arbitration at World Intellectual Property Organization. The company’s official web site is Nominet.org.uk, but it also owns Nominet.co.uk.

All.com domain dispute denied by WIPO panel; forgery claims too much to handle.
A three member WIPO panel has denied a complaint for the domain name All.com, saying the case is outside of UDRP’s scope.
The case involves an alleged sale of the domain name, to which the “buyer” produced documents showing the sale and transfer of money and the “seller” said he knows nothing about.

Social networking behemoth wins domain name from Australian company.
Facebook has won the Facebook.com.au domain name from Australian company Callverse Pty Ltd. The domain name currently advertises a “click to call service” that is “coming soon”.

Celebrity wins decision for TuckerCarlson.com.
Conservative talk show host Tucker Carlson has won rights to the domain name TuckerCarlson.com.
The decision handed down through World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) under UDRP on June 2. In Carlson’s complaint, he claimed common law rights to the name “Tucker Carlson”:
