Igloo to marketplace 300k+ DomainSponsor domain names -
Domain name portfolio acquired by Rook Media will be marketed by Igloo.
When Rook Media acquired DomainSponsor earlier this year, it also acquired Oversee.net’s large portfolio of domain names.
Domain brokerage Igloo will begin marketing many of these domain names shortly, Igloo and Rook announced today.
While not all domain names will be offered for sale, over 300,000 will be offered through Igloo’s brokers and a new online marketplace.

Rook Media acquires DomainSponsor -
Oversee.net has sold DomainSponsor and its domain name portfolio to Rook Media.
One of the largest domain name parking companies has been acquired.
Rook Media has acquired domain name parking company DomainSponsor from Oversee.net, the companies confirmed today.

Giveaway includes ten domain names per person.
Above.com, Rook Media and ParkingCrew are teaming up for a unique promotion during next week’s Webfest: they’re giving away 4,000 domain names.

Longtime Domain Sponsor account manager Joe Higgins may have left his employer of the last 6 1/2 years recently, but he didn’t leave the domain name industry.
Higgins has joined new domain name parking company Rook Media.
