.Sex is Live - ICM Registry, the registry operator for the .XXX, .PORN, .ADULT and .SEX top-level domains (TLDs), announces the launch of its general availability period for .SEX. Domain names in all of ICM Registry’s extensions are now available for public purchase. Retail prices vary by registrar but Godaddy is charging $72 for a .sex domain name. .Porn Ends Its 1st Day Of With 10,038 Domain Registrations; .Adult 8,277 - According to the ICM Registry as of midnight EST, the first day of general availability (GA) the number of registered .porn domain names totaled 10,038. This number includes all domain name registered in Sunrise by trademark holders which numbered around 4,000 and the number of .porn domain names registered in the matching program for .XXX domain holders which was around 3,500 so basically .porn got over 2,500 registrations on the first day of availability. ICM Just Made $1.2 Million On Sunrise Registrations For A $370K Investment - The ICM registry,  which is the operator of .XXX, announced a short time ago that their two new extensions .porn and .adult each got around 4,000 registrations in the Sunrise Period which was opened to trademark holders.
